Key Responsibilities
- Leverage existing relationships with clients and agencies to drive new business and meet revenue goals.
- Pitch The Roost’s podcast roster and respond promptly to RFPs.
- Maximize revenue by negotiating competitive rates and optimizing inventory use.
- Engage in client meetings to understand client needs, share updates and build long-term partnerships.
- Track and report pipeline activity regularly to management.
- Achieve individual targets for revenue generation and in-person interactions.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive networks, and the direct response marketplace.
- Take on additional projects as needed to support evolving business priorities.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in podcast or audio advertising sales.
- Proven success in closing deals and driving revenue growth.
- Strong agency and client relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Experience in direct response sales and understanding of conversion metrics.
- Ability to balance negotiations with broader business objectives.
- Experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce/Affinity.
