About the role
MES Solutions is seeking a sales professional to join the team. The ideal candidate should have a background in claims, workers comp, peer review, IME or a similar industry. The territory is New York, and the position is remote with 75% field-based travel.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, engage, and secure new clients while expanding relationships with existing ones.
- Develop and execute territory plans informed by market and client feedback.
- Regularly analyze competitive landscapes and adapt strategies to meet and exceed sales quotas.
- Maintain accountability through CRM tools for strategic planning, pipeline forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Lead client engagement efforts, emphasizing face-to-face interactions.
- Represent the company at industry events to bolster client relationships.
- Manage client concerns and feedback, focusing on strategic sales initiatives and delegating routine tasks as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively within the sales team and across departments to drive initiatives.
- Provide insightful updates to Sales leadership and actively contribute to sales meetings with strategic recommendations.
- Commit to continuous learning to enhance sales skills and market knowledge.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets while meeting company revenue objectives and client expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or sales, OR at least 3 years of experience in outside sales with a focus on territory planning and client engagement.
- A valid State Driver’s License.
- Proficiency in CRM software for efficient client management, sales tracking, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills to effectively interpret market trends and identify business opportunities.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for creating compelling presentations, running reports, and analyzing sales data.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective presentations and diverse audience engagement.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and addressing client concerns creatively.
- The ability to work effectively in a team, fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
- A commitment to continuous professional development in sales skills and industry knowledge.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
