Duties And Responsibilities
- Possess and utilize sales techniques, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), proposal writing, and client relationship management skills.
- Manage the full sales cycle: needs assessment, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Maintain and expand existing accounts through upselling, renewals, and relationship management.
- Collaborate with operations, preconstruction, and service teams to ensure solution delivery meets client expectations.
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and reports to highlight value and ROI.
- Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Stay current on industry trends, energy efficiency, and sustainability solutions.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in sales/business development for HVAC, plumbing, mechanical services, or related B2B field; proven track record of quota attainment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Physical Demands: Office-based with client travel; standard mobility for meetings and presentations.
- Work Environment/Safety: Professional office/field mix; adhere to safety protocols during site visits.
Required Skills
