Role Objectives
Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the restaurant and food service sectors
Client Acquisition: Prospect potential clients, build a robust sales pipeline, manage initial onboarding and continue consultation to provide over the top service.
Account Management: Upsell and cross sell to continue adding products and categories throughout the customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Portfolio Management: Oversee and nurture a client portfolio, ensuring sustained satisfaction and growth
- Revenue Expansion: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, aiming to become the primary supplier for clients' back-of-house and front-of-house food service disposables, janitorial and sanitation products
- Client Engagement: Maintain regular communication with clients through weekly or biweekly check-ins, providing value-added services such as product samples, updated pricing, new product information and market insights
- CRM Maintenance: Document all client interactions, including notes and visit details, in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
