Account Executive
About the role
Hi Marley is transforming how the P&C industry communicates, making claims conversations faster, easier, and more empathetic. As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in growing our business by introducing our platform to new clients. This role is hybrid and requires working from the office two days per week.
Responsibilities
- Own pipeline development and progress opportunities through the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close
- Achieve pipeline and revenue targets across a defined set of strategic accounts
- Build strong relationships with prospective clients and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the buying process
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Design, Education, and Engineering to execute sales strategy
- Educate customers on the value Hi Marley delivers for carriers and their insureds
- Collaborate with the Customer team to support adoption, long-term value, and successful client outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting on pipeline, account plans, and sales activities
- Track market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Develop expertise in key insurance business issues, workflows, and Hi Marley’s solution offering
- Represent Hi Marley at industry events and conferences to build brand visibility and strengthen relationships
- Accurately document account and opportunity activity in Salesforce or other sales systems
Requirements
5+ years of experience in a full-cycle sales role, ideally with prospecting and relationship-building responsibilities
Experience working with long sales cycles and/or enterprise clients
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
A collaborative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Interest in learning, growing, and taking on new challenges in a scaling company
Willingness to travel occasionally, approximately 10 to 20%
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
Knowledge of insurance industry processes and workflows
Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits
Annual base salary range: $65,000–$130,000, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location
