About the role
The Integrated Fire & Security Solutions Orlando, FL team is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Account Executive to lead sales and customer development initiatives across the low-voltage systems portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Actively drive new business development through regular customer engagement, cold outreach, networking, and field visits.
- Identify, pursue, and secure negotiated sales opportunities, including design-build and pre-designed project work.
- Conduct site visits, field surveys, and needs assessments to qualify leads and define project requirements.
- Prepare scopes of work and detailed proposals that reflect customer needs and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with presales engineering teams to ensure solutions are accurate, competitive, and aligned with customer expectations.
- Build and manage a personal sales pipeline, maintaining a minimum of 10 targeted sales calls per week.
- Participate in weekly sales activity reviews and maintain all customer interactions, proposals, and documentation in HubSpot CRM.
- Oversee and renew recurring service agreements related to monitoring, inspections, and maintenance.
- Support estimating, take-offs, customer presentations, and other business development activities throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED required; additional technical training or college coursework preferred.
- Proven B2B/outside sales experience within security, access control, low-voltage, or related system environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative, customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales, engineering, and operations teams.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
- Comfortable conducting site visits, field surveys, and developing scopes and proposals for customers.
- Willingness to perform proactive outreach (including cold calling) to generate opportunities and grow the customer base.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability in all interactions.
- Tech-savvy, including use of computers, mobile devices, and digital sales tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including maintaining a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
