Account Executive
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue through new business development, upselling, and account retention across exhibit space, sponsorships, digital media, and year-round marketing opportunities.
- Proactively prospect for new exhibitors, sponsors, and media partners while managing and growing assigned accounts.
- Develop customized proposals and negotiate contracts aligned with client goals and brand objectives.
- Accurately manage and forecast sales activity in Salesforce, maintaining detailed account and pipeline records.
- Achieve assigned revenue, retention, and activity goals.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers to support long-term partnerships and repeat participation.
- Stay informed on industry, media, and event trends, along with competitor activity and emerging exhibitor/sponsor categories.
- Attend industry events and competitive shows as needed for business development and relationship building.
Qualifications
- B2B sales experience across events, media, sponsorship, or integrated marketing partnerships.
- Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and account retention.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM required.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Goal-oriented with a high level of accountability and sense of urgency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Compensation & Benefits
Target Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 plus Sales Incentive Plan eligible. Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate’s qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
