Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Manage qualified sales opportunities from discovery through contract execution and customer handoff.
- Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand customer goals, challenges, funding considerations, and organizational needs.
- Deliver professional and engaging software demonstrations tailored to prospective client objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients throughout extended sales cycles.
- Partner closely with SDRs to develop, advance, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with prospects navigating government and state funding review processes.
- Cook up and coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and customer activity within Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, product, and leadership teams to support customer success and contract execution.
- Stay informed on industry trends, workforce initiatives, competitive offerings, and Chmura solutions.
- Represent Chmura professionally during conferences, customer meetings, webinars, and industry events.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance expectations.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in SaaS sales, consultative sales, account management, or related business development roles.
- Proven ability to manage longer sales cycles and maintain client engagement over time.
- Strong presentation and software demonstration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Experience using Salesforce, Apollo, or similar CRM and sales engagement platforms.
- Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
