Account Executive
About the role
This position at Cadent Medical Communications serves as the day-to-day point-of-contact for multi-project accounts, acting as both external and internal contact lead. The Account Executive oversees project and financial management functions with limited supervision and assists the manager with organic new business growth within existing accounts.
Responsibilities
- Client Management
- Execute plan of action for delivering projects with oversight from senior management
- Facilitate regular touch points with clients to develop relationships
- Identify efficiencies and areas of improvement for account and project work
- Project Management
- Demonstrate superior organizational skills in:
- Project timeline development and execution
- Information and task delegation to internal team members
- Internal process compliance
- Client teleconference and meeting preparation
- Project initiation and action plan development (internal and external)
- Managing multiple projects within a given account
- Demonstrate superior written and oral communication skills with clients and internal team members
- Troubleshoot and make decisions with little oversight from senior management
- Demonstrate superior organizational skills in:
- Financial Management
- Demonstrate superior organizational skills in:
- Estimate and statement of work development for new projects
- Client signed estimate, PO, and invoice tracking
- Regular and accurate budget reconciliations for all projects
- Communicating budget-related details to clients
- Analyze project utilization reports and identify areas requiring scope and budget changes
- Demonstrate superior organizational skills in:
- Business Development
- Assist senior management with assigned proposal and new business presentation development for organic growth with existing clients
- Business and Product Knowledge
- Demonstrate understanding of Cadent Medical Communication’s capabilities and service offerings
- Show strong knowledge of the medical communications and promotional industry
- Understand and apply acumen in:
- Therapeutic area marketplace
- Product and brand
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 1+ years of relevant experience in medical communication, marketing, or advertising
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Physician, HCP, or patient marketing experience (preferred)
Pay
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $75,000. Actual salary will vary based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions or bonuses based on company and/or individual performance.
