Account Executive
About the Role
Cadent is seeking a seasoned, highly connected Account Executive to drive revenue growth across our Linear TV and CTV solutions. This individual will have a proven track record selling video advertising solutions across both traditional and streaming environments and possess deep, active relationships within major agency holding companies. The ideal candidate is a consultative seller with a strong history of creating new business opportunities, expanding share of wallet, and navigating complex agency organizations. They thrive in a collaborative selling environment, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to develop integrated client strategies and deliver cross-screen solutions that drive business outcomes. This is a highly visible role requiring an established network, strong business development and strategic selling skills, and the ability to immediately contribute to revenue growth through existing agency relationships.
Responsibilities
- Leverage Your Agency Network
- Utilize deep, existing relationships across major agency holding companies to source opportunities, generate demand, and close incremental revenue.
- Build upon established partnerships to accelerate Cadent's footprint within key agency accounts.
- Develop and maintain executive-level relationships across agency strategy, planning, and investment teams spanning both Linear TV and Digital media disciplines.
- Drive Cross-Screen Video Revenue
- Sell Cadent's national Linear TV inventory and CTV solutions to agency and client stakeholders.
- Position integrated video strategies that connect linear, streaming, and audience-based targeting capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions aligned to client business objectives.
- Grow Strategic Accounts
- Identify and cultivate new buying centers within agency organizations.
- Develop account growth strategies that expand share of wallet across existing and prospective clients.
- Navigate complex holding company structures to uncover opportunities across brands, agencies, and specialty teams.
- Own the Full Sales Cycle
- Lead all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, client presentations, proposal development, negotiation, forecasting, and quarterly business reviews.
- Partner with account management and operations teams to ensure flawless campaign execution and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and revenue forecasting.
Qualifications
- Proven Video Sales Expertise
- 3-5 years selling video advertising solutions within major agency ecosystems.
- Strong experience selling across both Linear TV and CTV, with a deep understanding of the evolving video marketplace.
- Ability to articulate the value of integrated, cross-screen media strategies to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Agency Holding Company Relationships (Required)
- Deep, active, and trusted relationships within major agency holding companies.
- Demonstrated success selling into large agency ecosystems and navigating complex organizational structures.
- Existing relationships and a proven track record of business development within Holding Companies.
- Strategic Business Development Skills
- Proven ability to generate net-new revenue opportunities and expand existing partnerships.
- Experience developing account growth plans and identifying opportunities across multiple buying teams.
- Strong consultative selling, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Collaborative Selling Mindset
- Demonstrated success operating within a team-selling environment, partnering across sales disciplines to develop strategy, create solutions, and win business.
- Ability to build strong internal relationships and align stakeholders around a common client growth strategy.
- Comfortable sharing ownership of accounts and collaborating to drive collective revenue outcomes.

- Location & Work Environment
- Location: New York, NY; This role is based in the New York market and requires regular in-person engagement with agency partners and internal stakeholders.
- Hybrid Work Model: Candidates are expected to work from our New York office a minimum of three days per week.

Pay
USD $140,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
