Account Executive
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Account Executive to support our B2B sales team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to small and mid-sized businesses, helping them evaluate and select employee benefits solutions that align with their organizational goals and employee needs. You will work closely with internal underwriting and service teams to ensure a seamless client experience — while focusing on consultative sales and new account acquisition. Note: You will not be selling insurance directly; policy placement and enrollment are managed by our dedicated internal compliance and underwriting team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct consultative sales conversations with business owners and HR decision-makers
- Assess client needs and recommend tailored employee benefits strategies
- Develop and execute a proactive prospecting plan to grow your book of business
- Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate smooth onboarding and client retention
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Pass a criminal background check
- Willing and able to obtain a Health and Life Insurance License (support provided)
- Own a reliable cell phone and laptop for daily business operations
- Professional appearance and communication skills appropriate for client-facing roles
Preferred Qualifications
- No prior insurance experience required — but a background in sales, client services, or consultative selling is beneficial
- Experience in high-performing sales environments (e.g., retail, automotive, technology, or B2B services)
- Ex-military personnel, hospitality professionals, or those with transferable client-facing skills are encouraged to apply
- Bi-lingual proficiency (English + Spanish) is a strong asset

You’ll receive structured onboarding and weekly training to build your knowledge and confidence in employee benefits consulting. You’ll be supported by a collaborative team and leadership who are invested in your long-term growth.
