Account Executive – ARMY, US FED
About the role
This role requires a deep understanding of the defense mission space and the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into language that resonates with warfighters and acquisition professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow a book of business within the U.S. Army by identifying, pursuing, and closing key opportunities as part of a dedicated Army sales team.
- Build and maintain deep relationships with senior military officers, civilian leaders, and acquisition professionals across the tactical and strategic Army enterprise.
- Translate AWS cloud capabilities into mission-relevant value propositions that help the Army operate with greater speed, safety, and decisive advantage.
- Drive both business and technical engagements by partnering with solutions architects, partner teams, and technical specialists to deliver outcomes aligned to warfighter needs.
- Engage daily with customers across staff offices, program offices, and operational units to identify modernization opportunities and accelerate adoption.
- Think strategically about the Army's mission challenges and develop compelling approaches that connect AWS services to operational outcomes.
- Travel to customer sites, military installations, and industry events as required.
Requirements
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.
Qualifications
- Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions
- 3+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Skills
Prior U.S. Army or Department of Defense military service, or previous sales and business development experience supporting U.S. Army or Department of Defense customers.
Experience with cloud technologies, IT modernization strategies, or digital transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of the federal procurement process, including FAR/DFAR and government acquisition cycles.
Demonstrated success building and closing a book of business with large, complex organizations.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $92,400.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually.
