About the role

We're looking for an Account Director with deep performance marketing agency experience. You may have led client relationships in a performance marketing agency, or you may have started hands-on in paid media, analytics, or campaign management before moving into account leadership.

You understand what great performance marketing looks like because you've worked close enough to the work to know what actually moves results. You can speak credibly about Google Ads. You understand how media, SEO, creative, data, CRM, websites, CRO, and reporting all connect. You know how to spot issues before they become client escalations. And you're confident enough to lead a room without making it about your title.

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years in a performance marketing agency, rooted in performance, paid media, and measurable outcomes.
  • Must have account leadership experience in a performance environment.
  • Must have Google Ads fluency and be able to speak credibly about Google Ads and understand what to investigate when performance shifts, lead volume drops, or conversion quality changes.
  • Must have a modern marketing ecosystem understanding, connecting paid media, SEO, creative, data, CRM, websites, CRO, and analytics to drive outcomes.
  • Must have paid media strategy depth, understanding how media channels work together, especially search and social, and translating performance signals into strategy.
  • Must have client leadership experience, managing client relationships, leading strategic conversations, and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Must have focused account management experience, leading a meaningful book of clients deeply (roughly 3 to 8 accounts) rather than spreading your attention across a high-volume roster with limited depth.
  • Must have experience with meaningful media spend, working with clients spending at least $50K/month in media per client; $100K+/month is strongly preferred.
  • Must have a business-first mindset, talking about revenue, pipeline, lead quality, conversion paths, customer journeys, and business outcomes, not just CTRs, CPCs, and platform metrics.
  • Must have low ego, high ownership, willing to build the dashboard, chase the answer, clean up the ambiguity, or step into the gap when the team needs it.

Pay
