Account Director
About the role
We are looking for a quality-driven Account Director to join Highsnobiety+, our creative agency, leading client services across multiple integrated accounts.
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of client partnerships and agency programs, ensuring work is strategically aligned, delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead integrated campaigns and programs across strategy, creative, branded editorial/content, content production, media, experiential, talent partnerships, brand collaborations, and external production partners.
- Act as the senior day-to-day client lead, translating business objectives into clear recommendations, strong programs, and measurable outcomes.
- Build and nurture healthy senior client relationships, guiding stakeholder decision-making and maintaining trust across complex partnerships.
- Own account financial performance, including scope oversight, budget management, forecasting, profitability, out-of-pocket expenses, overages, and overall account health.
- Brief, guide, and align internal teams across creative, production, sales, editorial, global Client Services, Brand Partnerships, and external partners.
- Balance client expectations with team capacity, protecting internal resources while ensuring successful delivery.
- Anticipate client or delivery risks, escalate appropriately, and protect both the client relationship and the quality of the work.
- Support client retention, renewals, account growth, expanded scopes, and new business through strategic input, scoping, proposals, and client pitches when required.
- Champion agency processes, governance, and workflow improvements across accounts and departments.
- Guide, motivate, and hold internal teams accountable for delivering high-quality work and strong client experiences.
- Lead, mentor, and support direct reports, Account Managers, and cross-functional partners when assigned, providing clear direction, feedback, and development input.
- Stay informed on client industries, competitive landscapes, cultural trends, and emerging opportunities, bringing proactive recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Travel within the US and occasionally globally for client meetings, productions, and business development opportunities.
Requirements
- 8 - 10 years of client services, account management, or integrated culture led program experience within a creative agency, media agency, publisher, or brand-side environment.
- Experience owning post-sale delivery for integrated brand campaigns across at least three of the following: branded editorial/content, social-first content production, paid or organic media, experiential activations, talent/creator partnerships, brand collaborations, or external production partners.
- Proven ability to manage senior client relationships, complex accounts, and multiple work streams at once.
- Experience managing scopes, budgets, forecasting, profitability, overages, timelines, and account health.
- Working knowledge of digital advertising, branded content, social-first content, and creative production processes.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects, timelines, and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Clear understanding of fashion, lifestyle, media, marketing, consumer behavior, and brand storytelling.
- Comfortable operating in a lean environment where priorities shift and team support may vary by project.
- Able to build trust across senior clients, Account Managers, and internal teams while staying steady under pressure.
- Clear communicator who can simplify complex information, align stakeholders, flag risks early, and keep work moving.
- Experience improving processes, workflows, and team effectiveness.
- Leads by example with curiosity, follow-through, and a willingness to develop new skills.
- Fluency in English required.

Pay
The expected annual base salary range for this role is between $110,000 to $130,000. The range is based on many factors including location, experience, and relevant skill set. In addition to salary and an employee benefits package, successful candidates will be eligible for variable pay.
