Account Development Manager
About the role
As an Account Development Manager at NRC Health, you are a key member of our Customer Growth team. You will execute outbound strategies and serve as the first point of contact for prospective customers, helping transform their organizations with NRC Health solutions. You will also coordinate current customer growth opportunities by collaboratively strategizing upselling and cross-selling methods with your team. Our dedicated training team ensures you develop relevant skills to advance your career within NRC Health.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new clients via phone, email, and established communication channels to expand current business and develop new business.
- Challenge clients and prospects to think differently about their business.
- Collaborate with team members to solve challenges creatively.
- Support colleagues by sharing expertise, ensuring collective success.
- Multitask and manage multiple demands on your time while initiating, engaging, and following up with clients and prospects.
- Connect data and offer unique insights to current and potential clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree OR 2 years of sales experience (UNL Sales Certificate is a plus).
- Availability to work in the office 4 days a week.
- Demonstrated interest and aptitude for strategic sales with strong self-motivation.
- Experience in a professional environment with proven communication skills.
- High learning agility and ability to think critically.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM system experience preferred.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Some roles offer performance-based variable compensation, with eligibility and payouts tied to performance metrics. Your final base salary will be determined based on skills, education, experience, and internal equity considerations.
Candidates must live in Lincoln, Nebraska, and surrounding areas. This position may allow for a work-from-home environment.
