Job Title: ADE - Independent Ambassador (IA)Job Description This role offers an exciting opportunity to help launch a new local delivery partner program by recruiting small businesses across designated Iowa communities. You will visit prospective businesses in person, present the program, qualify interested partners, guide them through the application process, and support community-based recruitment events. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, maintain accurate records in Salesforce, and help build strong community partnerships. The position requires regular travel within a driving radius of up to two hours and provides commission-based earning opportunities tied to successful partner conversions. Responsibilities Visit prospective small businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance.Present and pitch the new delivery partner program to business owners and decision-makers to generate interest and encourage them to apply.Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them step by step through the application process.Lead applicant follow-up activities and manage an organized pipeline of prospects and partners in Salesforce.Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.Partner with the Field Manager to engage local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and program awareness.Import and maintain Excel spreadsheets in Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and existing partners, answering questions and resolving issues related to the application and onboarding process.Demonstrate professionalism and enthusiasm while working collaboratively with other team members and community stakeholders.Proactively identify and solve problems for applicants in the field, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.Consistently track activity, travel, and outreach efforts, and report progress to support program goals and performance metrics. Essential Skills At least 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.Proven outside or field sales experience.CRM experience, with Salesforce strongly preferred.Exceptional customer service skills with a strong focus on relationship-building.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for pitching, presenting, and follow-up.Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence customer decisions.High level of professionalism and a strong sense of urgency in completing tasks.Strong attention to detail when managing applications, data, and documentation.Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems for applicants in real-time in the field.Tech-savvy, with experience working across multiple systems and technologies.Ability to travel up to 4 hours round trip on a daily basis. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior field sales experience is a plus.Previous experience in roles involving sales negotiations with customers is beneficial.Enthusiasm for building community partnerships with small businesses.Comfort working independently in a commission-based environment.Strong organizational skills for managing pipelines, events, and reporting.Willingness to collaborate with local influencers and community organizations to expand program reach. Work Environment This is a highly field-based role, with work in the community approximately 4–5 days per week. You will operate primarily in and around designated Iowa markets, including Des Moines, Davenport, Iowa City, and Burlington, and will regularly travel within a radius of up to two hours by car. The position involves frequent in-person visits to small businesses, attendance at community events, and collaboration with local organizations. You will use tools such as Salesforce and Excel to manage pipelines and partner data, and you will work closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors to coordinate recruitment activities. The role offers commission-based earnings per partner application and launch milestone, reimbursement for mileage, and a monthly phone expense allowance, supporting a dynamic environment focused on community engagement and business development. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Des Moines, IA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
