Account Delivery Strategist
Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Account Delivery Strategist to work in our Arlington, VA office. This role is a senior, individual contributor position with significant customer-facing responsibility and influence across both customer and internal teams, partnering alongside the Account Growth lead.
About the Role
As a thought leader, you will engage directly with customers in early-stage, high-ambiguity ("Greenfield") environments, translating mission needs into clear, actionable strategies. The ideal candidate thrives in "gray space," bringing order to chaos by building deep customer relationships, leading strategic discovery, and developing structured outputs that guide vision, strategy, and implementation. You will be equally comfortable facilitating executive conversations, shaping proactive strategic direction, and enabling teams to execute against defined priorities.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
- Establish trust and credibility with customers in early-stage or undefined environments.
- Engage stakeholders at multiple levels to understand mission needs, priorities, and constraints.
- Navigate varying customer perspectives and levels of readiness for change.
- Serve as a primary strategic sounding board and trusted advisor for senior stakeholders, providing informed recommendations and guidance.
- Balance subject matter expertise with a collaborative, customer-centered approach to shape narratives.
- Challenge assumptions and guide customers toward highly effective, forward-leaning solutions.
- Strategic Discovery & Problem Definition
- Lead conversations that uncover true customer needs, pain points, and desired outcomes.
- Apply active listening, facilitation, and analytical techniques to clarify ambiguous problems.
- Assess organizational readiness and risk tolerance to inform strategic direction.
- Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and collaborative discussions (virtual and in-person) using multiple communication modalities to drive clarity and alignment.
- Vision, Strategy, and Implementation Development
- Translate customer insights into structured outputs including Vision statements, Strategic priorities, Strategic Implementation Roadmaps, Frameworks, Diagrams, and Models.
- Develop clear, actionable activity-based artifacts that enable execution by federal and consultant delivery teams.
- Ensure alignment between mission objectives, organizational capabilities, and proposed solutions.
- Drive and Support Strategy Implementation
- Provide hands-on support for the development and implementation of plans aligned to defined strategies.
- Coach team members on strategic thinking, customer engagement, and artifact development.
- Validate ECS and customer understanding through incremental deliverables and feedback loops.
- Refine strategies collaboratively with customers to ensure alignment and clarity, continuously adapting deliverable outputs based on evolving customer needs.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in consulting, strategy, advisory, or customer-facing roles.
- Experience supporting DHS, CISA, or other federal government agencies.

Pay
Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000
