Account Asset Specialist – Indianapolis, IN
About the role
Support and manage inventory programs at customer locations while delivering exceptional service and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage crib/inventory programs at customer sites to ensure consistent material availability and minimize downtime for customers
- Monitor, analyze, and maintain inventory levels to improve accuracy, reduce waste, and ensure the right products are on hand when needed
- Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and installed base evaluations to maintain data integrity and support informed decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory flow and standardization to increase efficiency and reduce costs for both the customer and the business
- Deliver, receive, stock, and replenish materials at customer locations to keep operations running smoothly and maintain service reliability
- Promote value-added services and identify product conversion opportunities to enhance customer operations
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; College level coursework preferred
- 2+ years of electrical product experience; Counter sales or industrial maintenance
- A clean driving record and valid driver’s license (must be 21 years of age)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, telephone etiquette
- Self-directed, independent work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and customer contact skills
- Credible, responsive team-player
- Reading and math skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs. and adapt to varied work environments
- Ability to climb ladders
- Walk warehouse/plant floor
- Sit and stand for extended periods of time
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, Flexible Hours 6/7am-3/4pm depending on demand
- Travel required, For Hire license required
