Account Administrator

About the role

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking an administrative manager to oversee customer account operations. Reporting to the Commercial Accounts Manager (CAM) or designated leader, you will manage daily account operations, inventory, and sales preparation.

Responsibilities

• Daily Account Operations: Professional customer communication, invoicing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), and payment processing.
• Inventory & Reporting: Inventory monitoring and reporting, coordination with internal teams and vendors.
• Sale Preparation: Lineup management, fee posting, and reconditioning activities.
• Financial Reconciliation: Detailed reconciliation of transactions.
• Sales Support: Administrative support to the sales team and resolution of customer inquiries.
• Data Integrity: Accurate data entry for vehicle information and customer records.
• Compliance: Follow company policies and administrative standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years old and have a valid driver's license meeting requirements.
• Experience: 1–3 years of administrative, accounting, or customer service experience required; automotive or auction industry experience is a plus.
• Systems Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Financial Literacy: Basic understanding of invoicing and A/R processes.

• Physical Activity: Light to Medium Physical Work.
• Visual Acuity: Color, depth perception, and field of vision comparable to definitions for Clerical, Administrative, and Machine Operators (including inspection) positions.
• Physical Working Conditions: Inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, weather conditions, noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions.
• Language: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
