Accident Scene Management Instructor
Non-credit instructor position in Workforce Development & Continuing Education. Exempt status; hours vary based on department needs. On-site delivery only.
About the role
JCCC is searching for an Accident Scene Management Instructor to deliver motorcycle-specific accident scene management training using the accredited Road Guardians curriculum. This position may require travel to deliver training across the state of Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Present the Road Guardians curriculum for up to 8 hours per day.
Requirements
- Minimum EMT certification.
- Valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement.
- Above-average communication skills.
- Ability to actively ride motorcycles.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a first responder (preferred).
- Experience teaching or presenting to groups (preferred).
- Motorcycle riding experience (preferred).
- Experience responding to or assisting with traffic accidents involving motorcyclists (preferred).
