About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Lab Processor to join a fast-paced clinical laboratory team in Earth City, MO. This is a contract, fully onsite position. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and tracking patient specimens to support accurate diagnostic testing and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process laboratory specimens for testing
• Verify specimen labeling and documentation accuracy
• Enter and maintain patient/sample information in laboratory systems
• Track samples throughout the testing process
• Prepare and ship specimens following laboratory guidelines
• Work closely with laboratory teams to support efficient workflows
• Handle blood specimens along with urine, tissue, and other sample types
• Ensure all quality and compliance standards are met

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory, data entry, or high-volume administrative environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent organizational and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working with blood and other clinical specimens
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 per hour.

Schedule

Shift: Monday‑Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM; plus one Saturday per month from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
