Accessibility Consultant, ADA & FHA - New York, NY

About the role

The Accessibility Consultant, ADA & FHA position at our New York office is responsible for ensuring compliance with accessibility laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and assessments to identify accessibility barriers in physical and digital environments.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve accessibility for all users.
• Provide training and education to staff on accessibility best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with ADA and FHA standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as architecture, engineering, or disability studies.
• At least 3 years of experience in accessibility consulting or related field.
• Knowledge of ADA, FHA, and other relevant accessibility guidelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Skills
