About the role

The Access Monitor / Guard I Surge position at White Sands Missile Range, NM involves monitoring government test equipment/property, making rounds, escorting individuals, and ensuring safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control of restricted areas
• Record and log individuals and vehicles entering/exiting the site
• Grant or deny access to restricted areas
• Escort visitors and customers
• Retrieve and deliver test data
• Archive and prepare data for shipping
• Prepare documentation for delivery
• Conduct local area sweeps
• Operate and manage facility IDS systems
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• DoD Secret Clearance
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Fluency in English
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Focus and observation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Physical demands: standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, lifting up to 25 pounds, adjusting focus
