About the role
In accordance with Wyoming state statute 16-6-203, Article 2 – Preference for Wyoming State Laborers, preference will be given to Wyoming residents who meet the requirements. The project is for the Albany County School District (SO627886) located at 2939 Standards Place, Laramie, WY 82070. It is a projected 50‑hour assignment scheduled between November 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Pull cable
- Install and program electronic hardware
- Connect power supplies
- Connect access control components
- Provide system training
- Install and adjust door hardware and commercial doors
Requirements
- AAADM certification
- Minimum of four years field installation experience
- Minimum of five years' experience of field installation
- Attendance at Continental “Higher Education Class” and certification by Continental as an authorized installer/service provider
- State of Wyoming license for low‑voltage cabling
- Ability to install and adjust door hardware and commercial doors
- Own tools (including ladders) and own transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screen
