About the role
Access Control Technician for Albany County School District project (SO629092) located at 8111 S. 17th Street, Laramie, WY 82070. The project is a 50‑hour assignment scheduled between November 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026. Preference will be given to Wyoming residents who meet the requirements, per Wyoming state statute 16‑6‑203, Article 2.
Responsibilities
- Pull cable
- Install and program electronic hardware
- Connect power supplies
- Connect access control components
- Provide system training
- Install and adjust door hardware and commercial doors
Requirements
- AAADM certified
- Four years of field installation experience
- Attended Continental “Higher Education Class”
- Certified by Continental as an authorized installer/service provider
- State of Wyoming license for low‑voltage cabling
- Minimum of five years’ field installation experience
- Own tools (including ladders) and own transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screen
