About the role
Assist in all aspects of physical security, equipment maintenance dealing with access control and security cameras at Kelsey-Seybold locations. Troubleshoot, repair, relocate, and/or install parts related to the AMAG Access Control System, CCTV system, mortise locks, sliding doors, or any electrical or mechanical equipment dealing with access control. Work with IT on the KS Network as it applies to Access Control and CCTV monitoring. Assist Human Resources in issues related to printing Access Control Badges and providing access per Help Desk requests. Work independently in the absence of the Chief of Security regarding any access control issues. Collaborate with the Facilities Project Manager on security, access control, or CCTV needs for future projects. Contribute to overall security needs or issues and provide input on best practices.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, relocate, and install parts related to AMAG Access Control System, CCTV system, mortise locks, sliding doors, and other electrical or mechanical access control equipment.
- Collaborate with IT on network-related tasks for Access Control and CCTV monitoring.
- Assist Human Resources with printing Access Control Badges and managing access per Help Desk requests.
- Work independently on access control issues in the absence of the Chief of Security.
- Support the Facilities Project Manager on security, access control, or CCTV needs for future projects.
- Address overall security needs or issues and provide input on best practices.
- Maintain and troubleshoot KS Intercom Systems and access control gates, including design.
Requirements
- AS (2-year Electronics Technical School) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of progressive experience with Security Systems Software, Access Control, CCTV, and Automatic Door Service.
- Texas Alarm Installer certification.
- Ability to work on all types of locking devices and automatic doors.
- Valid Driver's License and access to reliable transportation.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or ten years of progressive Electronic Access Control/CCTV experience as a substitute).
- 15+ years of AMAG training in install and troubleshooting systems, along with certifications for various software programs.
- Experience with CCTV installs and troubleshooting.
- Network experience.
- AMAG Certification, Access Control Installer, Texas Electronic Access Control Installer, OSHA, TWIC.
Pay
The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment, depending on factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
