Access Control Security Officer

Pay

$17.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Schedule

• Overnight and early morning availability required
• Weekend availability required
• Full-time and part-time positions available

Requirements

• Comfortable walking and patrolling dark areas
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Must meet and maintain applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards
• No prior experience required; retail, food service, or hospitality background a plus (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client site
• Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Actively monitor premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for the client site
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers

Physical Requirements

• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods
• May involve climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

About the Role

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.
