Access Control Security Officer

About the role

At Securitas, the Access Control Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling various locations, preserving order, enforcing regulations and directives, and providing customer service and information to employees and visitors. Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites.
• Monitor premises and patrol a variety of locations.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Valid driver certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet and maintain applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.

Skills

• Strong observation and reporting abilities.
• Capable of frequent sitting, standing, and walking, including climbing stairs and navigating uneven terrain.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness as core competencies.

Pay

Wage: $20.00 per hour.
