Access Control Security Officer

The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling a variety of locations, preserving order while enforcing regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area, and frequently providing customer service and information to clients’ employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Patrols various locations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for the client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provides customer service and information to clients’ employees and customers.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Valid driver certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
• Physical demands: frequent sitting, standing, and walking (may involve long periods, climbing stairs, walking up inclines and uneven terrain); frequent lifting/moving up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.

Pay
