Access Control Project Lead

This is a Contract to Hire position based in Lebanon, IN.

About the role

The Security Project Lead is responsible for leading field installation teams on commercial security projects. This role works closely with project management to ensure successful installation of access control, surveillance, and integrated security systems. The Project Lead provides technical guidance, oversees daily work activities, and ensures installations meet company and customer standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians during system installations
• Coordinate daily tasks and project priorities
• Install and troubleshoot access control and security systems
• Review project plans and specifications
• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project requirements
• Maintain progress updates and project documentation
• Support testing, commissioning, and customer handoff activities
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in access control system installation
• Experience with commercial security system deployment
• Proven team leadership and crew coordination skills
• Proficiency in CCTV and surveillance technologies
• Experience with low-voltage cabling installation
• Strong project documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Pay

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
