About the role
The Data Center Project Controls lead is responsible for overseeing the project master schedule and delivery roadmap across FluidStack's datacenter portfolio. This role integrates design, procurement, permitting, and construction schedules into a unified enterprise-level program plan, ensuring consistent and predictable execution across multiple concurrent builds of GW scale datacenter projects.
- Lead regional project controls and scheduling teams; set goals and ensure progress.
- Oversee schedules (pre-construction, baseline, updates) and project controls processes.
- Manage change orders, claims, delay/productivity analyses, and dispute resolution support.
- Ensure compliance with companywide practices for budgets, scheduling, and reporting.
- Partner with Operations, Legal, and Finance on risks, claims, and recovery strategies.
- Support client interviews, Go/No-Go decisions, and bid strategies.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and training programs; mentor project controls staff.
- Collaborate with Estimating, VDC, Safety, and Quality for project integration.
- Participate in councils and committees to improve processes, policies, and tools.
- Conduct contract reviews to identify risk, timelines, and notification protocols.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in construction, including 7+ in project controls/scheduling.
- 7+ years handling scheduling and productivity claims.
- Strong leadership and experience implementing companywide procedures.
- Proficiency in CPM scheduling, contracts, risk processes, and self-perform productivity.
- Skilled in financial/cost systems, forecasting, and risk evaluation.
- Expert in P6, Microsoft Suite, and Bluebeam; knowledge of VDC tools.
- Ability to travel within the region.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of industry best practices and standards.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
