What You'll Do

• Install, program, and service commercial access control systems
• Install and configure CCTV camera systems and NVRs
• Install, program, and troubleshoot burglar alarm systems
• Run, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
• Configure network-connected security devices
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and communication issues
• Train customers on system operation and best practices
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project documentation
• Complete service calls and installation projects independently and with a team

Systems and Technologies You'll Work With

• Access Control: DoorKing, ButterflyMX, Latch, Dormakaba, Kantech
• Video Surveillance: Luma, ClareVision, Honeywell, Digital Watchdog, Turing Video
• Burglar Systems: Honeywell, DSC

Job Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial access control installation and service experience
• Experience with card readers, RFID systems, magnetic locks, electric strikes, request-to-exit devices, telephone entry systems and smart locks
• 3+ years of commercial CCTV installation and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with burglar alarm installation, programming, and service
• Working knowledge of networking and IP-based systems
• Able to read blueprints and technical documentation
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Able to pass background screening
• Able to use hand and power tools
• Some travel required
