About the role

We are looking for a skilled Access Control Associate to be the go-to partner for making sure the right people have the right access at the right time—supporting critical processes like onboarding/offboarding, role-based access, and access reviews for sensitive systems. You’ll work hands-on with tools like Active Directory, Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), and SSO/MFA platforms, while collaborating closely with Information Security, IT, and IGA Engineering.

If you enjoy solving access-related puzzles, improving how work gets done through documentation and automation, and being part of a team that takes trust seriously, this is a great opportunity to grow your security career in a highly visible, high-impact space.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, troubleshoot, and support accounts, roles, groups, and permissions across Active Directory / Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), enterprise/SaaS applications, and SSO/MFA platforms.
  • Resolve escalated access issues that require deeper directory, identity, entitlement, or workflow knowledge; support onboarding/offboarding for privileged accounts and sensitive access.
  • Execute and support recurring identity governance processes including access certifications, entitlement reviews, remediation, and risk identification/escalation in alignment with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain and improve SOPs/process documentation; partner with IGA Engineering and IT teams to streamline workflows and implement automation (e.g., PowerShell scripts, provisioning integrations) and support cross-functional security initiatives (e.g., new application onboarding).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in Access Management/IGA Operations and/or an IT Help Desk or security support environment.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra, and SSO/MFA tools; exposure to Azure/AWS concepts is strongly preferred.
  • Strong customer-service mindset, analytical/problem-solving skills, and attention to detail; excellent writing and documentation skills with the ability to manage projects/process improvements; comfortable with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT).

Pay

Salary: $85,000-$121,000
