Responsibilities

  • Sales: Build a robust pipeline of corporate partners in the Princeton metro area to participate in the program. Manage the P&L of Plug and Play Princeton, driving sales growth and expanding the program’s reach. Signing corporate partners drives revenue and delivers value for startups in the program.
  • Curriculum Management: Collaborate with the wider Plug and Play Programs Team to design the 12-week calendar for upcoming cohorts. Ensure the curriculum maximizes value for startups and partners by creating a detailed timeline of weekly activities, including in-person mentorship sessions and digital materials.
  • Startup Matchmaking: Work with each startup to define success metrics (e.g., funding, paid pilots, hiring) over the next 3-6 months. Ensure deal flow and mentorship sessions align with startup goals during the 3-month program.
  • Branding, Networking, and Events: Serve as the ‘face’ of Plug and Play in Princeton by developing relationships with key innovation stakeholders. Attend local tech events to build brand awareness, occasionally travel to global events, and coordinate logistics for program events while engaging corporate partners.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with funding partners and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met. Collaborate with the team to collect data and deliver timely reporting to funding partners.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business, Management, Business Development, or Science.
  • 3-5 years of experience selling technology products to corporations, corporate solutions, industry initiatives, or in a startup/investing environment.
  • Deep passion for entrepreneurship, AI, technology, and innovation.
  • 3-5 years of experience in leadership and project management.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills.

Schedule

4 days per week in the office. In-person collaboration is prioritized to foster teamwork and creativity.
