Qualifications/Requisites

• Bachelor's and/or Master’s Degree preferred
• Strong math, science, history or English background preferred
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong writing and verbal communication abilities
• Outgoing, friendly personality
• Strong computer capabilities
• Ability to work with others in a group and independently
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Flexibility and adaptability

Primary Duties

• Demonstrate mastery in one or more subject matter areas
• Teach organizational skills, including how to use planners and prioritize assignments
• Teach efficient study skills, such as note-taking, flashcards, study guides, and review with teachers
• Connect students with their teachers during office hours
• Teach time management and best use of "open" periods
• Communicate bi-weekly with parents
• Report plan for improvement to parents (grades C or below)
• Partner with teachers
• Attend teacher mentoring sessions and summits as scheduled
