Job Description
University Health Physicians, the academic group practice for the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine seeks a full time faculty member for the Department of Ob/GYN at University Health. UH provides the expertise of academic medicine the region’s largest safety-net academic hospital. The ideal candidate is a BC/BE Ob/Gyn physician who provides excellent full scope obstetric and gynecologic care, in the office and hospital.
Responsibilities
- Patient management in our newly renovated state-of-the-art Labor & Delivery unit
- Full-spectrum outpatient OB/GYN management in our brand new clinics
- Busy GYN Operating Room opportunities, including daVinci robotic surgery
- Care of Antepartum & Postpartum patients
- Provide coverage for GYN inpatients including full spectrum operating as well as emergency surgical care for gynecologic patients presenting through the ED
- Opportunity for private patient care in University Health
- Serve as an expert clinical resource for L&D staff along with routine patient assessment and triage
- Supervise and instruct University of Missouri Kansas City OB/GYN residents as well as the UMKC School of Medicine rotating students

The ideal candidate is a BC/BE Ob/Gyn physician who provides excellent full scope obstetric and gynecologic care, in the office and hospital.
Qualifications
The selected candidate would join a group of Ob/Gyn specialists, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgeons as well as several maternal-fetal medicine specialists.
