Academic Scholar - Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor, Division of Emergency Medicine
About the role
The Division of Emergency Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital (OCH) is seeking a Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor to fill a position that provides direction and leadership to implement emergency care standards, practice and competencies of the OCH. The Emergency Department Physician assists the Chief to meet or exceed expected outcome measures including patient satisfaction, length of stay, and clinical standards. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining effective and responsive relationships with patients, managing professional and clerical staff. They will work alongside and supervise students, residents, fellows and APPs in all areas of the Emergency department.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- MD or DO Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Recent Emergency Medicine experience (preferred)
