Academic Renal Pathologist - Rank Dependent on Qualifications
About the role
The Department of Pathology at the University of Utah Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine and ARUP Laboratories seeks a board-certified/board-eligible AP or AP/CP pathologist with fellowship training in Renal Pathology. The successful candidate will join a nationally recognized academic pathology department integrated with ARUP Laboratories, a leading national reference laboratory providing specialized testing and pathology consultation services throughout the United States and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Interpretation of native and transplant kidney biopsies
- Participation in multidisciplinary nephrology and transplant conferences
- Resident and fellow education
- Scholarly activities
Qualifications
- Board certification/eligibility in AP or AP/CP
- Fellowship training in Renal Pathology
- Additional subspecialty expertise or interests considered if aligned with department needs
Academic appointment & rank
Faculty appointment and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
