King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking full-time faculty members at the rank of Lecturer for the following specializations:
- Pediatrics Nursing
- Adult Health Nursing
- Critical Care and Emergency Nursing
- Nursing Administration
- Community Health Nursing
About the Role
The Faculty of Nursing offers an undergraduate degree in Nursing and maintains positive working relationships with South Sinai organizations. More information about the faculty can be found at https://ksiu.edu.eg.
Responsibilities
- Teaching (2-3 courses per semester), including time spent in classroom, laboratory, or telecommunications courses and immediate preparation
- Maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught
- Preparing teaching materials and conferring with students on course materials
- Reviewing written examinations and papers, evaluating presentations, and supervising independent study projects
- Student advising
- Research and creative activities
- Service and cooperative extension
- Administrative responsibilities
Requirements
- Ph.D. in the respective nursing specialization (Pediatrics, Adult Health, Critical Care/Emergency, Nursing Administration, or Community Health Nursing)
- Minimum one year of teaching experience after Ph.D.
- Excellent command of English language
- Excellent use of computers in teaching
- Excellent clinical skills in simulation labs and clinical settings
