About the Role
Join an academic practice setting primarily based at a major hospital in the St. Louis area. Collaborate with a team of three Radiation Oncologists and multidisciplinary subspecialists to deliver comprehensive radiation oncology services.
Responsibilities
- Utilize various external beam radiation modalities including 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS.
- Perform HDR brachytherapy and GammaTile procedures as needed.
- Work with advanced equipment such as Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, CT simulators, and related technologies.
- Participate in patient care, research, teaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Engage in shared on-call coverage, working approximately 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology.
- Experience with external beam radiation therapy and disease-site specific treatment.
- Proficiency with advanced radiation modalities and familiarity with current medical technologies.
Schedule
Approximately 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shared on-call coverage.
