Academic Physician - MD/DO - Radiation Oncologist
About the Role
Join a collaborative academic practice setting as a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist, working alongside a team of three radiation oncologists. You will utilize a range of external beam radiation modalities, including 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS, and perform HDR brachytherapy and GammaTile procedures. The role primarily serves diverse adult and pediatric patients at a major hospital, with opportunities for disease-site specialization. Support includes experienced therapists, physics, dosimetry, and nursing staff.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of radiation oncologists in an academic practice setting.
- Utilize advanced external beam radiation modalities: 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS.
- Perform HDR brachytherapy and GammaTile procedures.
- Serve a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics, with opportunities for disease-site specialization.
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in radiation oncology.
- Proficiency with advanced radiation technology and medical software (Eclipse, ARIA, Brainlab, MIM, Epic EMR).
