Academic Physician - MD/DO - Oculoplastic Surgeon

Role: An academic Oculoplastic Surgeon responsible for providing specialized surgical care, teaching, and mentoring within a university-affiliated practice. Responsibilities Performing oculoplastic surgeries, including ptosis repair, thyroid eye disease, trauma, and fracture cases.Developing and leading a cosmetic oculoplastics service.Teaching and mentoring medical students and residents as part of an academic appointment.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team supported by dedicated staff, including APPs and nurses.Contributing to practice growth in a community with high demand for services. Qualifications & Skills Fellowship-trained Oculoplastic Surgeon.Strong commitment to education and mentorship.Ability to develop a diverse case mix and lead practice expansion.Excellent collaborative and leadership skills. Key Duties: Providing surgical care, participating in teaching, developing new services, and supporting practice growth within an academic environment.
