About the Role
We are seeking a board-certified or eligible surgeon with a focus on microvascular surgery to join the Division of Plastic Surgery within a major academic health system. The role involves clinical patient care, teaching, and research in a busy hospital environment, including trauma centers, children's hospital, and community hospitals. Ideal candidates have specialized training in plastic surgery, hand/microvascular fellowships, and are passionate about hand and extremity surgery, microvascular, and comprehensive reconstruction. Cross-functional interests such as breast reconstruction or lymphedema surgery are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide surgical care for diverse patient populations in a referral network.
- Participate in teaching and mentoring of residents and medical students.
- Engage in clinical research to advance the field.
Requirements
- Certification or eligibility in Surgery of the Hand (SOTH).
- Board certification or eligibility in plastic surgery.
