Academic Pediatric (Medical) Psychologist / Rank Dependent on Qualifications
About the role
The Division of General Pediatrics at the University of Utah is seeking an outstanding full-time psychologist to join their faculty. The Division comprises clinicians, developmental-behavioral specialists, and quality improvement experts who collaborate to deliver comprehensive, team-based care for normally developing children and those with special health care needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the University Development Assessment Clinics (UDAC)
- Work in various clinical programs at UDAC including the Child Development Clinic, Neonatal Follow-up Program, and Heart Center Neurodevelopmental Program
- Contribute to teaching future health care providers
- Engage in research related to children with special health care needs and medical complexity
- Participate in advocacy efforts for children with special health care needs
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or School Psychology from an accredited program
- Completed 1 year of post-licensure experience
- Experience in teaching and quality improvement projects is preferred

- Doctoral level degree in Clinical Psychology or School Psychology from an accredited program
- Completed 1 year of post-licensure experience
- Experience in teaching and quality improvement projects is preferred

Pay
The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical or Tenure track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
