Academic nuclear medicine radiology faculty position at UPMC Presbyterian

About the role

Duties for this position will consist of a mix of clinical, teaching, and academic responsibilities. Candidates with interest in academic and clinical nuclear medicine with strong skills in PET CT and theranostics will be desirable. The position will be based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostics and radiopharmaceutical therapy services across UPMC’s 5 main core hospitals in Pittsburgh, including the Hillman Cancer Center, and additional imaging services across the UPMC network.
• Deliver dedicated didactic and clinical teaching to ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program trainees and a dedicated PET/CT fellowship.
• Conduct large volumes of general nuclear medicine, oncologic and non-oncologic imaging, neuroimaging, and PET CT imaging.
• Administer substantial volumes of radionuclide therapies including Pluvicto and Lutathera, as well as non-FDA-approved therapies via participation in clinical trials.

Requirements

• MD degree or equivalent.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and/or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
• Eligible for unrestricted licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Completion of a Nuclear Medicine fellowship as required for ABR-eligible/certified candidates.
