About the role
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire a full-time, faculty member at the rank of (Associate professor, Assistant Professor).
Responsibilities
- Teaching (2-3 courses/semester)
- Student advising
- Research and creative activities
- Service and cooperative extension
- Administrative responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities include time spent in the classroom, laboratory, or telecommunications courses and in immediate preparation for them; maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught; preparing teaching materials; conferring with students on course materials; reviewing written examinations and papers; evaluating presentations and supervising independent study projects.
Requirements
- Hold a Ph.D. in Veterinary Theriogenology, Food Hygiene & Control (Meat and its products), Animal Health & Environmental Hygiene, or Veterinary Surgery, Anesthesiology and Diagnostic Imaging
- At least 3 years of teaching experience after Ph.D.
- Excellent command of English language
- Excellent use of modern techniques in teaching
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degrees in Veterinary Medicine offered by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
- Positive working relationships with South Sinai organizations
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to teach effectively using modern techniques
