Responsibilities

• See patients with medical residents and students in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in rotations for inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing care.
• Participate in teaching lectures and didactics as part of the core curriculum for the Internal Medicine (IM) residency program.
• Provide mentorship to medical students and residents.
• Participate in program evaluation and resident evaluation.

Position involves 7on/7off 12-hour inpatient shifts with shared equal call for all providers. On call on average 1 in 4 weekends for inpatient rounding with house staff.

Requirements

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
• 2 years' experience working as a hospitalist post-residency.
• Experience teaching medical students and residents post-training.
• 3-5 years work experience in internal medicine inpatient care.
• Current State Medical License – MD or DO.
• Unrestricted Current DEA Registration.
• Current State Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance Certificate of Registration.
• BLS (AHA or ARC) or ACLS (AHA or ARC) certification required.

Full Time, Day Shift.
