About the role

The Osteopathic Family Medicine Program Director position is available at AdventHealth Orlando, a leading healthcare system in Central Florida. The successful candidate will lead the Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency Program, which is among the most progressive training programs in the osteopathic profession.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical teaching in an outpatient setting
• Teach on the inpatient ONMM consult service (for qualified candidates)
• Develop a private patient base
• Focus on clinical teaching skills in preventative and evidence-based medicine
• Manage 50% clinical and 50% administrative duties

Requirements

• A minimum of three years' experience in Osteopathic Family Medicine
• Board certification in Family Medicine
• Experience in leading an osteopathic program
• A vision to increase academic activity including research, posters, and presentations

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in residency education
• Dynamic communication skills
• Ability to fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth
