Academic Emergency Medicine Physician: Open Rank Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor

Hybrid$236k–$261k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes description of role, responsibilities, qualifications, etc. We need headings:

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. Output ONLY the HTML fragment — no /, no markdown code fences. We need to decide which sections to include. The posting includes: - About the role: description of recruiting Emergency Medicine Physicians to serve as academic faculty with expertise in educating learners, conducting high impact research, disseminating scholarly activity; possible subspecialty areas; patient care and bedside teaching; description of ED facility; hospital details; patient volumes. - Responsibilities: Clinical Responsibilities, Teaching Responsibilities, Scholarly Activities, Research Activities (applicable for Research Faculty applicants only), Administrative Activities. - Requirements/Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor) with bullet-like lists; Preferred Qualifications. - Pay: Anticipated Pay Range with salary ranges for each rank. - Benefits: mention of generous leave, health plans, retirement contributions. - Schedule: Not explicitly mentioned; maybe not include. - Skills: Not explicit; maybe not. Thus we can have sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Qualifications (maybe combine Minimum and Preferred), Pay, Benefits. We must not include sections with filler. Ensure we don't create Schedule if not present. We need to preserve all substantive information. Must not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all details from the posting. We need to format lists with

    • . For prose, use

      . For headings,

. We must not repeat job title. Not include Job ID. We need to remove duplicated lines, boilerplate like "Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. We are unable to provide work visa sponsorship or employment authorization for this position now or in the future." That's substantive? It's a requirement about work authorization; we should keep it as part of Qualifications maybe. Also "LEARN MORE and APPLY: https://..." is application instruction; remove. Also "The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt." That's part of Pay details; keep. Also "Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Colorado provides generous leave, health plans and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line." That's Benefits. Now we need to ensure we don't create sections with placeholder text. Let's extract content. About the role: The first paragraph(s) up to maybe before "Clinical Responsibilities:"? Let's capture: "The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is currently recruiting Emergency Medicine Physicians to serve as academic faculty with expertise in: educating learners (students, residents, and fellows), conducting high impact research, and disseminating scholarly activity. The successful candidate may practice clinical subspecialty medicine in one of the following areas: administration and operations, education, wilderness medicine, point of care ultrasound, sports medicine, palliative care, climate change, toxicology, critical care, quality and patient safety or another approved subspecialty. This role includes patient care and bedside teaching, as well as didactic teaching of emergency medicine residents and medical students. The Emergency Department at the University of Colorado Hospital is a 55,000 square foot state of the art facility with 76 treatment areas including a 16-bed observation unit and is a major teaching site for the Denver Health Residency in Emergency Medicine. The University of Colorado Hospital is a 600+ bed quaternary care referral center, level I trauma center, ABA verified burn center, joint commission certified comprehensive stroke center of excellence and is the academic flagship of the University of Colorado Health System. Current ED patient volumes are in excess of 100,000 visits per year with anticipated growth of 1-2% annually. The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is dedicated to delivering superlative patient care, providing an environment where training and education thrive and innovation and discovery are fostered. The Department of Emergency Medicine is based at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora Colorado. The campus is a state-of-the-art medical campus home to the University of Colorado Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Pharmacy, the Colorado School of Public Health; as well as the University of Colorado Hospital and Children's Hospital Colorado both of which serve as major training sites for the Denver Health Residency in Emergency Medicine." That's a lot; we can keep as prose. Responsibilities: There are sub-sections: Clinical Responsibilities, Teaching Responsibilities, Scholarly Activities, Research Activities (applicable for Research Faculty applicants only), Administrative Activities. We need to list each duty as
    • maybe grouped under subheadings? The instruction says use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid subheadings inside? Probably we should keep only top-level sections. But we could embed subheadings as

? Not allowed? The instruction only mentions using

for section headings; doesn't forbid other headings but we should follow. Safer to keep only

      sections and within them use
      • for lists. For responsibilities we can have a single
with all duties. But we need to preserve all substantive information; we can list each duty as separate
        • . That will preserve. Similarly for Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor) and Preferred Qualifications. We can combine into a
with items. But we need to preserve the rank-specific details. Could list each rank as separate
          • with its details. We also need to include "Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. We are unable to provide work visa sponsorship or employment authorization for this position now or in the future." as a qualification. Pay: Provide the salary ranges. Benefits: mention generous leave, health plans, retirement contributions. Now ensure we don't include Schedule. Now produce HTML:
