Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Principal's Certification
- Three years' experience as a classroom teacher; supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Ability to organize and coordinate campus curriculum programs
- Ability to interpret data
- Ability to provide ongoing, targeted professional development to teachers
- Knowledge of curriculum, instruction and assessment
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Major Responsibilities And Duties
- Implement procedures to identify and monitor achievement of students at all grade levels on the campus.
- Improve instruction through curriculum differentiation.
- Develop and coordinate a continuing evaluation of the program and implement changes based on findings.
- Consult with staff to provide resources and materials to aid in accomplishing program goals.
- Provide targeted intervention support for individuals and small groups.
- Provide ongoing professional development for teachers.
- Conduct action research to identify problems, propose solutions, establish action research design procedures, and evaluate research outcomes to inform teacher practices.
- Afford resources and materials to aid staff in accomplishing program goals.
- Assist with the collection, processing, and distribution of data and interpret this information for instructional purposes.
- Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy.
- Provide on-site professional development for teachers.
